    - Dennis has a 13-year tenure at research organizations, including Harvard University's medical school and Merck Research Labs in Boston.

    - Programming reaches children from toddlers to high school students, teachers and out-of-school time educators, parents and caregivers

    - Hosts the Greater KC Science & Engineering Fair and other education-related special events at Union Station

  • Project Lead for ecosySTEM KC; chairing the regional Girls in STEM Committee

  • Co-state leader for the Missouri-Kansas Million Women Mentor Initiative

  • Coordinated outreach and advocacy as a liaison to the national Project Lead the Way organization.

  • Led the effort to secure a $2.5 million grant from the Office of Minority Health’s National Workforce Pipeline Program – which is bringing new opportunities in biomedical sciences to students in seven area school districts.
